Hello there! This morning was a great morning in Hangar 56! We are still talking about individuality and I really think that the kids are really learning who they are made to be in Christ! One of our small group activities was a really neat activity....the kids had the opportunity to paint a self portrait. It was really neat to watch the kids take the time to really decide what they wanted to look like. The girls really enjoyed this activity and the boys did a pretty good job themselves. I hope you all got a chance to see what your child painted this morning. We have one more week of individuality then we will be talking about Cooperation for the month of November. I hope this information gives you a chance to talk with your kids about what they learned at church throughout the week. Maybe even read the bible story again with them and talk about it more. I hope you all have a fantastic week!!!
Virtue: Individuality—discovering who you are meant to be so you can make a difference.
Memory Verse: “How you made me is amazing and wonderful.” Psalm 139:14, NIrV
Bible Story: THE Dorcas (The story of Dorcas) • Acts 9:36-42
Bottom Line: When you use what you have to help others, you can make a difference.

Hangar 56 Clean Up Day!
Welcome to the Hangar 56 Blog!
Hello!! A few weeks ago I was brainstorming on ways to communicate with parents about what is going on each week! I decided that I would create a blog that you can visit to see what is going on! This will be fun and allow you to stay up to date on what is going on in the life of your kids! At the beginning of each week I will post a new blog and let you know what you kids learned at church on the Sunday before! I think this will be a neat resource for you as a parent to continue to talk about what you child learned about on Sunday at church! I will also post updates about upcoming events and pictures and such from events that have already passed. We are off to a great start and I really feel like God is really working in the hearts of your kids. Thank you so much for sharing them with the Hangar 56 team each week!!!
